                                                                                                                    Whoooh, it’s 8.00pm and i finally have a bit of time to breathe a little : ) It’s been hell of a frantic hectic day but let’s not talk about work.

Thanks everyone for your concern, yes i’m much better now thanks to panadol, chicken soup and a good nite’s sleep ; ) I’ve since applied for Aishiteru online *snigger* and they should be coming over to install it this Saturday. Reason being we just can’t seem to locate an antenna cable for the darned plasma tv in the stores which means we have not watched any TV yet. So we figured the easiest thing to do would be just to apply for satellite TV and watch the normal channels from there. Though im only happy when it rains - not!!

Stats: 46-46-46 : ) yes, we originally planned on getting an LCD tv but this baby stole our hearts…and our money!!

This Saturday the furniture people will also be coming over to install the glass panels in my divider. When they brought my last piece of furniture last Saturday, the glass panels didn’t fit. I get the feeling the divider doesn’t really wanna be in my home… And the renovator’s last job: to paint all my door frames into the colour of leather (well, that’s what it’s called ok. im not making it up. it’s actually a deep brown shade). Also need to apply for a phone line and broadband. So everything will be happening concurrently this Saturday.

For everyone’s info, yes i’ve moved in da house to stay already and no, not all my stuff have been moved over. One at a time, one at a time… Oh yeah, many of you have also been asking bout when’s the housewarming, and my response is that it wont be anytime before October i think. Will keep you darlings informed, ya. Watch this space! ; )

One lesson to keep in mind is to not buy too many clothes. i had a field trip moving just my clothes alone to my new place !!! And even that i had already sorted out the ones which i wanted to give away to charity. I used five travelling bags alone for the foldable clothes and i hand-carried those on hangers to save time. All in all i had to make two trips in a car and about 12 trips from my car to da house. I looked like i was going to stock up a boutique or something. All this while i managed to convince myself that i didnt have enough clothes to wear, and so i bought more and more. No wonder im having a frightful back ache after only shifting 1/10 of all my belongings !!!

Ok, upon request - more house photos ; ) I took these when i went to my condo last nite to do a little bit of cleaning and to collect my mail.

I just realised that for the past few weeks my whole sad life has revolved around nothing but my house. For ease of reference, let’s standardise the term. Instead of calling it my condo/apartment/house/home, let’s just refer to it as da house hehe (even tho its not reeeally a house). Yeah, that gives a gangsta ring to it *grin* Anyway, back to what i was saying. All my weekends are filled with nothing but catering to da house’s needs. Where i used to go for movies without fail every weekend, this has now been replaced with trips to Ikea, furniture stores, electrical outlets, hardware stores, supermarkets and wherever da house’s needs take us to. I mean, the last movie i watched was Superman !! I dont even have time to watch that Scary Movie 4 vcd which i bought aeons ago. I’ve lost count of the number of reserved movie tickets which i just let go and the free movies my sis got for me that i didnt watch. All bcoz of da house. haha but yesterday when i checked my mailbox i found that i’ve won 2 movie tics to watch Click. Luckily didnt go to the free screening then ; P Man, it’s been yrs since i won anything. Used to win stuff all over the place, but that’s another story : ))

Anyways, i think da house has somewhat destroyed my social life. Even Yien has complained that i dont have the time to yak with her on the phone anymore hehe… And the amount of money spent on da house. Eeek. I could have gone for countless holidays and bought tons of designer items with that money. But as joeeey says, this is something permanent. Maybe im just feeling so coz i bought da house a little too early into my working life. Luckily i didnt buy a house, if u know what i mean. With that i think the expenses would have doubled hehe…

Silly silly me…ahh life. Maybe i should just stop complaining and be contented that at least im lucky enough to be able to buy da house at this stage of my life when im just beginning to earn a living (hey, im not rich u noe) and thankfully i wasnt forced to buy one with a lower price tag just coz of financial constraints. Wait, im being rude. Oh, screw everything. Someone just dropped another bomb on me today. Looks like we’re gonna be missing some good help around here real soon… sigh. On days like these, life really socks. Yeah, socks u right in the eye.
